Yes. I’m doing my best to release updates frequently, adding new content and/or new features like new game mechanics. However, remember that I am working alone on Seashine and sometimes the huge amout of work forces me to delay updates. Getting sick, or any important personal issues, can also force me to delay an update.
At all times, stars give you a small boost of light.
If you have at least one star, simply click on the star icon on the top right of your screen or double tap anywhere on the screen to activate that boost.
Later, stars allow you to unlock new jellyfish or new abilities (up to 3 at the same time) giving you tactical advantages in your survival. Once selected in the combo slots, these abilities will trigger everytime you use a star.
If you have difficulties with the swipes it’s most likely that you are not doing it right.
Try to do very short swipes and do not put your finger over the jellyfish.
Swipes on the lower part of the screen are best for clarity.
It becomes natural after a few minutes.
This is not related to Seashine. Please make sure your device has the minimum requirements:
– at least iOS 7 for Apple devices.
– at least Android 4.0 and 500MB of RAM for Android devices.
If you have troubles downloading the game or if the game hangs on install please contact the Apple App Store support or Google Play support depending on your device. The issue is coming from their services, not Seashine.
You need a Google Play Games account to saved/load your progress with Google Play savegames. Once you are signed-in in Seashine with your Google Play Games account, the game will automatically save your progress to the cloud when you exit the app. It will load your progress when the game starts if there is any progress on your cloud saved game compared to your local saved game.
Your unlocked jellyfish, unlocked abilities, third ability slot unlock, and your discoveries will be automatically saved to your Google Play Games account.
Deleting and reinstalling the game, or simply installing the game on an other device with the same Google Play Games account you used to save the game will automatically restore your progress when the game starts.
Please note that you need an active internet connection to load your saved game from your Google Play Games account.
Open your device’s Settings>Apps>Seashine window and clear the cache. DO NOT clear the local data or it will delete your progress.
If it still doesn’t work, try to launch the game in airplane mode. The lack of internet connection will bypass online initialization by third party plug-ins that are causing the issue.

If you are asked for this permission, your version of Seashine is outdated. Please update to the latest version. Versions older than 1.0.0 needed this permission for the following reasons :
With Android 6+ devices, Seashine asked for this permission to be able to read the device status, allowing the app to prevent cheating and allowing Chartboost to stop a video ad when a call was received.
In devices running Android up to version 5 (Lollipop) this permission is labelled « Read phone state », but in Android 6 (Marshmallow) Google changed the label to « Allow [app] to make and manage phone calls », which could be confusing to some players. However, the Seashine permission request remains the same for both versions, only the name of the permission has changed.
Seashine does not and will never make or manage phone calls on your device. The app requires the permission solely to gather data related to your device to report statistics and identify your click when you interact with ads.
Simply go to your iDevice’s settings>iCloud panel and login, that’s it!
Your unlocked jellyfish, unlocked abilities and your discoveries will be automatically saved to your iCloud account.
Deleting and reinstalling the game, or simply installing the game on an other device with the same iCloud account you used to save the game will automatically restore your progress when the game starts.
